Dean Crenshaw has 20 years of experience working for the California Department of Corrections. This experience includes 16 years in the Prison system, consisting of:

· 8 years at the California Institution for Men, in Chino, California.

· 3 years as part of the activation Management Team at Pelican Bay State Prison, Crescent City, California.

· 5 years as part of the activation Management Team at California State Prison Los Angeles County, Lancaster, California. The last 2 years of his tenure he served as the Wardens’ Administrative Assistant and the Media Spokesperson for the Prison.

· He has also served as a Special Food Service Consultant at six new California Prisons at the request of their Wardens.

For the past 5 years, he has been a Parole Agent in the Antelope Valley. He demonstrates a high level of commitment to public safety, as well as assisting parolees whom by their attitudes and actions demonstrate that they are willing to change the direction of their lives.
